In general, we can have two types of metadata in Dawiso. Metadata entered/imported by a user, or scanned metadata. Scanned metadata is automatically imported by scheduled scanners. Scanners read and analyse data/metadata source systems such as databases, reporting servers, data models, read structure, definitions, and relationships. Scanners can be configured on a per-system basis.
